I’m Headed to Cuba

A new year means new passport stamps, new ground for my chacos to step on, and (perhaps most importantly) new opportunities to be obedient to the call to "GO!"
It has been almost NINE YEARS (gasp) since my last international mission trip and I am beyond excited to see what is to come - in the lives of the team going, the lives of the people we're going to meet, and everyone joining alongside us in prayer and financial partnership.
Our team will be made up of members of the Young Adult Ministry at NLC,Greater Little Rock. We will be traveling to support a local church, Nueva Vida, outside of Havana, Cuba. We will be there to be the hands and feet of the church: from door to door church invitations to hosting Vacation Bible School style programs for the community. Seeing needs. Meeting needs.
Overall, the financial cost of this mission trip is $1,950 per person. In my initial effort to meet this goal I am asking for people that will choose to Partner and Pray for a Day. Like those full month calendar fundraisers you've seen where you give one dollar for the first, two dollars for the second, ect. I am asking people to pick one of the days (17-24) we will be abroad to partner with and begin praying for that day now.
I know it might seem early to share the journey but, if last year proved anything, a lot can happen in six months and it goes by much faster than we ever expect it to.
